Welcome to Nitte Rukmini Adyanthaya Memorial Polytechnic, the first private polytechnic started in the undivided South Canara district. Our polytechnic was established in the year 1982 and is the first technical institution of the Nitte Education Trust and has completed more than 40 years of fruitful service in technical education. Our polytechnic was admitted into Grant-in-aid by the Government of Karnataka in the year 2001 and students are admitted in to the institution as per the government rules. 

We offer five technical and one non-technical course which are outcome based and skill based, affiliated with the Board of Technical Education Bangalore and AICTE, New Delhi. Along with the curriculum, we also offer a soft skill enhancement program and live working exposure through industrial visits. Students will have an opportunity to enhance their knowledge and skills by joining various clubs, like technical club, sports club, literary club, magazine club, cultural club, innovative club, NSS unit, etc.  

More than 7,000 diploma engineers are the outcome of our polytechnic since 1982. The old students of our institution are spread all over the country and also abroad, doing remarkably well in their fields. The placement record of the college has been consistent over recent years, with a good number of students being placed every year. Students will have an opportunity to continue their higher education on the same campus through lateral entry to the second year of UG courses.

Our efforts shall be to provide adequate facilities, create a conducive environment, and make available practical experience to enhance knowledge with skills. Our continuous effort to improve the quality of education has made us one of the best institutions in the state. We have permanent, highly qualified, experienced staff and well-equipped lab facilities. We assure our parents that it is our responsibility not only to prepare successful, quality technical engineers but also good citizens of India.
