Three-day Fevicryl workshop on the topic “Artist-in-Me”

The Department of Apparel Design & Fashion Technology, NRAM Polytechnic conducted a three-day Fevicryl workshop on the topic “Artist-in-Me” from 6th to 8th August 2024 for the first-year students. Smt. Pushpanjali, a certified teacher from Fevicryl India was the resorce person and trainer.

Students learnt various painting techniques viz. Dry brush, Wet brush, Stencil, Vegetable impression, Applique work, Shilpakar, Liquid embroidery etc. They also learnt to use different types of painting media, such as acrylic color, poster color, 3D liners, shilpakar, pastel color, fabric glue and different types of painting brush.

In the hands-on workshop students prepared various articles such as Kurta neckline designs, Jewellery, Fridge magnets, Applique work on cushion covers etc. Students gained the basic idea of painting on different surfaces, like paper, canvas, fabric etc in this workshop.
